The Persian cat is a feline with history, its elegant and aristocratic appearance position it as the "Lord of the Cats". His piercing gaze has seduced millions of people, being one of the favorites to have as a pet. It is also very sociable which will make your heart melt even more.
This breed descends from the Turkish cat of Angora; Persia (now Iran) and Ankara in Turkey. It was from the 19th century onwards that copies began to be exported to France and England, where they became well known and from there they spread to the United States.
Features
Its head is large, round and wide, with protruding cheeks, very small nose, tiny and rounded ears, distanced from each other and with tufts of long hair and with large, round and very open eyes.
Its body is compact, round and muscular, its bone structure is robust. The legs are short and thick.
Typically, these cats are of medium to large height, between 40 to 50 centimeters.
Its coat is thick, abundant, long and silky, its tail well populated with hair and slightly rounded at the end.

How to reproduce
The gestation span is approximately 64 days and the litter is a few kittens, usually two or three. Puppies usually separate from the mother when all three of them roam.
This breed of cats is not usually animals with a lot of offspring. They usually reach their sexual maturity between eleven and twelve months, although it is always advisable to miss a period of a year and a half so that the females are fully developed and ready for gestation.
